howve you all been??

ive been pretty bad to tell you the truth. this is due to adam lambert not winning american idol. whats wrong with you americans?? did you forget how to use your phone correctly? you managed to vote barack obama for president, it should NOT have been too much to ask to vote adam for american idol. adam losing is the biggest travesty in singing competitions ever. and thats saying a lot considering alexandra won the x-factor. im devastated. ive even painted my nails black to show my support for adam. weep weep.

i also didnt get into edinburgh college of art. but tbh i dont really care about that haha.

i was gone for a while so youd probly expect me to have built up a number of drawings to post BUTNO. but i have a reason!

last monday was my interview for edinburgh college of art!
so basically ive been working solidly to try and get my portfolio ready to show them. in the end it still wasnt done. i think my actual portfolio was ok but my sketchbooks were SHODDY to the max. my slacking off all year really bit me in the bum there.
it went a bit like this. there was me and about 7 other people in the room each of us with our portfolio layed out and with a few things hung on the wall. then each of us had to do a short presentation to the two tutors. tragically i went after the best person in the whole room. GUH. anyway then we all pissed off for about two hours while they graded our portfolios. NOW HERES THE EXCITING BIT. during that time me and claire went to subway and i swear to god the guy who plays victor krum in harry potter was there!! eating a subway!! thrilling. then we went back, got all our shit together and left. now i have to wait three weeks till i know whether im in or not. and considering its the only place i applied to i really fucking hope i am.

so there you go. i havent had any time to do MY kind of drawing latly cos i was stuck doing all my ECA stuff. but i am asoloutly itcing to get back into it again! and i have two weeks holiday so thats good! i actually showed one of my sketchbooks to my art teacher full of the kind of stuff posted here but he told me not to put it in my portfolio, which is fair enough, he probly knows best . he said it might damage my chances and that they dont care about my personality lol. he also said that this kind of stuff is a bit idealistic cos all the girls are pretty and so forth hahaha. he also thinks im a massive freak now. oh wells.

hey guys, how you doing?

just here to say that i started doing my livejournal again! im basically ranting about my life and posting drawings and photos. ill also be putting artwork that ive done for school up incase youd like to see it! its pretty different from the stuff up here cos er, im not allowed to do that kind of stuff for school :/

i notice that i watch like ten times more photographers than like drawers or painters. and pretty much all my favourites are photographs to. i really love photography but im annoyingly shit at it. i wish my gallery read like my favourites tho.

SO. amazingly, i, of all people, have been chosen by the gap year organization Project Trust (their website - [link]) to live and work in thailand for a year!! this is the single most incredible oppurtunity i have ever been given BUT (you knew it was coming) in order for me to partake in this once in a lifetime experience i need to raise...*drumroll*...4660 pounds! by, like, june/july! EEK!
so as well as my other fundraising stuff, i was thinking of maybe selling some pictures? so i need to know, if YOU, the viewer, would be at all interested. nothing is set in stone at the moment, i just need to know whether any of you would be interested and in what pictures. or, alternatively, if theres nothing you want but you like my style, you could commision me? i dont know to be honest, whatever YOU want i have no idea about prices or anything yet but i DO know that all prints will be on A4 maximum and good quality paper. so please please let me know so we can arrange something!
i also need more advice, do you think i should get a paypal for this sort of thing? also, does anyone know the rules on selling pictures with other people lyrics? im pretty sure its probably NOT ok :/
